I’ll be your Cowgirl Counselor and I have brought some of my favorite "cowgirlfriends" along for the ride!

My own journey with horses started when I was only 5 years old. They have been a constant force in a life ruled by ever-changing landscapes. I love their beauty, their gentle strength and their enduring spirit.

I hope you will join me and my friends for a "rewilding" of your spirit. Horses are only a part of our journey together. We know that every woman has cowgirl grit inside and we want to help you dust it off.  

I didn't always walk in peace with my inner cowgirl. We've had some out and out brawls, she and I. I am grateful for the wisdom and grace that came from learning from many great souls to harness my wildness without breaking my spirit. It came through movement, through prayer, through surrender and through forgiveness.

Come reconnect with your nature through the beauty and magic of the nature around us...the forest and fields, the sky and of course, the horses. I cannot wait to share my the land and the animals I call home with you.

I’ll be one of your Cowgirl Counselors on this incredible journey of souls...

There are a few things I know for sure and one of them is that I wouldn't be the person I am today without the horses.

As the Creator of Unbridled Liberty Equine Alchemy and Guided Horse Medicine Leadership, I combine Animal Communication and Reiki with Equine Bodywork to support horses and people. I am also the craftswoman and owner of Wild Burn Hat Co. and curate gorgeous, one-of-a-kind cowgirls hats through burning and adornments. 

I believe wholeheartedly that horses are a portal for deep and authentic reconnection to ourselves, and are willing partners on our path of deep healing, self-awareness and growth. The innate wisdom of a horse standing in their sovereignty is a powerful and potent medicine. They have the ability to reflect our brightest and darkest qualities...offering the opportunity to step into the highest version of who we can be.

My wish and invitation for you is...give yourself the gift of being seen, being heard, and being understood. Grant yourself permission to come back to your authentic "wild" self. I can't wait to meet and witness your beautiful soul.

I'm truly delighted to be one of your Cowgirl Counselors and share the transformative power of horses with you.

My journey with horses began in childhood, growing up in a breeding family and riding before I could walk. This early immersion led to a lifelong exploration of horsemanship, encompassing everything from competitive riding and training across various disciplines to gaining hands-on experience in equine healthcare and studying psychology.

Today, my passion lies in Equine Spiritual Mentoring. This practice is about creating a powerful partnership with horses to help you tune into your intuition, connect deeply with your authentic self, and discover your inherent inner strength. Horses possess a remarkable ability to be present and offer honest reflections, guiding us toward greater self-awareness and a sense of being truly grounded.

I believe that spending time in their wise and gentle presence, especially under the open sky, provides a unique path to shedding the noise of the outside world and connecting with your own true nature.

I can't wait to introduce you to these incredible animal guides and witness your journey of self-discovery and empowerment at the retreat!

Think wild west mystic                 modern medicine woman. 

PNW summers are generally warm and dry. Pack comfortable layers and be sure to bring close-toed boots for working around the livestock. Be sure to bring any medications or necessities along but feel free to leave the laptop and cellphone behind if you choose.

What should I bring?

In true cowgirl fashion, your lodging will be in canvas platform tents that sleep four. Expect bunkbeds and footlockers with some glamping touches and creature comforts added. Restrooms and showers are in a separate trailer.

What are the lodging options?

No horse experience is required. All of our horse medicine activities are led by experienced guides. You choose your level of participation and interaction. There is no riding involved and our herd have been carefully selected for the activities at hand.

How much horse experience is required?

We have a full schedule of activities planned with rest time and reflection time included. But campers are encouraged to spend their retreat time on-site, so if you want to explore our lovely island, please plan for an extra day or so to do so. We are happy to give you ideas of where to go outside of our time together.

Will i  have time to explore vashon island?

Yes, absolutely! We want to make joining the circle as accessible as possible. You can secure your spot with a minimum deposit of 25% of the total retreat cost. The remaining balance will then be due 30 days prior to the event start date.
